Critical Conversations
A Safe Environment for Critical Conversations
Lexington’s Police Activities League have teamed up with Partners for Youth and have adopted a new program titled “Critical Conversations”. This program is designed to allow high school students the opportunity to discuss critical topics and ask questions pertaining to the Lexington Police Department or city government. During sessions, participating officers and government officials will be asked to engage in genuine and honest conversations. This creates a safe and open environment where we hear the thoughts/views of the youth in the city. The students involved in this program have provided a set list of questions and topics they would like to discuss during the weekly sessions.
